Have you tried DAIKON(Japanese radish) MOCHI(Stickyrice) before?

*Daikon Mochi is a traditional Chinese dish. When I was working a Vegetable Recipes of The World recipe book in Japan...my Taiwanese friend Jessica taught me this. The original recipe is used dried shrimp, dried shiitake, rice flour, etc and steamed it...but i dIdn’t have these ingredients (or time) so I created a simple way. The main ingredients are only daikon (Japanese radish) and corn starch! It only takes about 10 min and it’s delicious!
I called this Daikon Waffles instead of Daikon Mochi;)

Daikon Waffles Recipe

Ingredients *serve2

1/3(about 250g) Daikon

20g Chives

4tbs Corn Starch

1tbs*2 Sesame Oil

1/2tbs Salt

*Dipping Sauce

1tbs Soy Sauce

1tbs Rice Vinegar

Dash of La-yu *Optional Dash of Shichimi

Pepper (chili pepper)

Pinch of Sesame Seeds

Dash of Sesame Oil
